A Day's Work

What do we do all day?

No, I don't spend all day at Whole Foods contrary to popular opinion. Although, when my sister called to speak to the florist and the florist said to her, "Your sister is here. Do you want to talk to her? I figured I must be there too much. Actually, Josh spends his work day at Whole Foods with the goal of working his way up the management ladder. He was very happy to get a recent promotion to payroll benefit specialist. He enjoys meeting the everyday challenges and the variety of people passing through as well as helping new stores open in the region. I enjoy utilizing his employee discount. :)

New England Christian Academy

I am in my eighth year of teaching at the school that I attended K-12th grade. I teach on a  part time basis now as I take care of Christiana. I enjoy working with the students and do my best to ensure that they are receiving a quality education that meets their academic needs and will prepare them for God's will for their life.

 Stay at Home Mom

I am a mother to Christiana Grace and am learning to adapt to quite a different schedule and way of life. It is a sweet opportunity albeit quite a change for me. I am grateful for the opportunity to be a mother in this new season of life.

Then comes the weekend...

Josh and I are both involved with various ministries at our church. Josh teaches an adult Sunday School class and leads the singing for some of the church services. He also helps out with maintenance repairs around the church from time to time. I teach a Sunday School class, run a bus route and work with the junior church several times a month. I sing in many different music groups and lend a hand in the nursery. We are both involved in the soulwinning outreach as well.

The workweek and weekend can be a lot to juggle at times, but I know we will never regret any service to Christ. Only things of eternal value including the souls of men will outlast us. I saw this phrase on my brother, Scott's, wall when I was a little girl, "THINK ETERNAL." It has always stuck with me and I hope will inspire us all to think on and live for what really matters.

Wasn't Scott the one who first shared with us "Don't get bitter, get better!"?

Loved reading all this!
