~Coffee Corner~
Notice the recipe box on the end. It belonged to my Grandma Marsh
and dates back to her college days in the early 1940's. She was a classy, gracious lady and homemaker.
It is nice to have a special memory of her in my home.
Editor's Note:  The recipe box actually belongs to my sister, Esther, but I "borrowed" it from her temporarily. :)

Speaking of my sister, Esther. The "Sister's" picture from her wedding won the "Fridge of  Fame" contest.  All of the Christmas pictures were on the front of the fridge previously, but the clutter was getting to me. OCD!
Not to mention that it was the only picture with me in it. JK!!

~Pictures of Special People~

~Dinner for Two~
The picture frame above the table is in special memory of my Grandma Michael who
was a wonderful lady and homemaker on the farm. She made a special effort at age 92 to leave the house and  pick out a hand-crafted frame and matting to frame my wedding invitation in. "Something for you to remember me by," she said.

~ Lavatory~
Small, but Important!

I love the monogramed towels given to us for our wedding.

Notice the Yankee Candle, "Early Sunrise." The scent was introduced to me as a wedding gift.
Smells great!  I have one in the living room as well. It is nice for the whole house.

~Master Bedroom~

~Bedroom Closet~
It runs the length of the room! Hides all kinds of things! :)

THAT'S ALL FOLKS!
THANKS FOR COMING IN!

Oops...that was me, Shera. =)

I didn't know anyone had a recipe box from Grandma Marsh! How neat!

Love your new "bureau". Is it really an antique?

Great blog, Leta Lou!

Thank you, Shera! :) The bureau is a real antique. We bought it from the "Sweet Buy and Buy." :)Josh helped to move it out of an old house behind the library last year. It meant something to him and I liked it too. I'm not usually into antiques, but this one spoke to me.

I found the recipe box in Esther's old room at home so I brought it along when I moved out. She actually noticed it when she came over. he, he! Finder's Keepers! :)

It is gorgeous!

Meaning that a particular style does not usually appeal to me, but it did in this instance for some reason. :)

Wow, Aleta! This was super fun to tour your blog!!! You'll have to post more! I love it! Your house
looks spotless!? Was this right before you were having everyone over for the Cahn Beef and Cabbage Dinnah?

So proud of you! My little Itsy is all grown up! :)
